We use a digital learning platform called CIMA. The platform is loved by both students and instructors because it uses a combination of digital learning, hands-on learning, and teacher instruction to help us seamlessly teach students. The foundation of our teaching is the curriculum set forth by the Board of Cosmetology in the State of Michigan. This curriculum, along with the CIMA platform and our experience, helps us prepare each student for their state board exam.
We offer zero-interest, weekly payment plans to all of our students. You can pay your tuition as you go through the course of your training or you can take advantage of our discounts if you want to pay in advance. We offer a 10% tuition discount if you pay in full at the time of enrollment and a 5% tuition discount when 50% of tuition and all other supplies are paid at the time of enrollment.

Elizabeth "Liz" Grondin, the mother of 10 children, was the inspiration for Grondin's Hair Centers. Starting with a stool in the kitchen, an old pair of scissors, and used clippers, she taught her boys about clipper cuts. The girls were taught how to do roller sets, pin curls, finger waves, and backcombing. In the later years, the kids returned the favor and taught her about blow-drying and curling irons. Out of this kitchen, six of the ten children and ten of thirty-three grandchildren became licensed hairdressers, with 9 of her ten children working at one time or another for Grondin's Hair Centers.
