About Our School

Our in-house salon is fully equipped with every tool a cosmetology, nail technology, and esthetician student would need, and it provides a great learning environment for all of them. The students have lots of space to work on projects individually and in a group. They work with clients under instructor supervision and get incredible insight into what a career in the salon will be like.

We have a two-story facility with multiple classrooms and two lofts that overlook the main floor. We have a state-of-the-art Wi-fi network so our students are always online. The school is conveniently located in historic downtown Lapeer within walking distance of many great restaurants.

Maintaining smaller class sizes is an important part of our teaching process because it allows our instructors to spend more time with each student, one-on-one, making sure they develop the skills they need to succeed in the beauty industry.

At Grondin's College of Cosmetology, we are proud to say that we do our very best to keep our tuition affordable. The State of Michigan Cosmetology Board sets forth the curriculum requirements to be taught in every Michigan cosmetology school. You will find that the way each school chooses to teach these requirements will look different but the one thing that always looks the same at Grondin's is that we are affordable.
